Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of CasaTally (the "app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
CasaTally is operated by the individual or entity publishing the app on the App Store and Google Play (the "operator", "we", "us"). Contact details are available at support@casatally.com.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the app. We delegate sign-in to Clerk; you can use email + password, Apple Sign-in, or Google Sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age permitted in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
3. What the service does
CasaTally lets you create renovation, extension, refurb, and DIY project records and track related expenses. Depending on your plan, you can manually enter expenses, upload receipt and invoice documents, or have AI extract structured data from those documents.
The app is a tracking and recordkeeping tool. It is not financial, tax, legal, or construction advice. Decisions you make based on data in the app are your own.
4. Subscriptions and one-time purchases
Paid plans (Pro monthly, Pro yearly, Lifetime) are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All payments, billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by the relevant store under their terms — not by us.
- Pro subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal in your store account settings.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase that does not expire.
- Prices may change. You will be notified before any change affects you.
- If a subscription lapses, you keep read-only access to your data. New entries and uploads are paused until you re-subscribe or switch to Lifetime.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you don't own or have permission to use.
- Upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Attempt to break, probe, or circumvent the security of the app or our backend.
- Resell or redistribute the app or its data without our written permission.
- Use the app for commercial purposes outside of tracking your own home or personal projects.
6. Your data and content
You own the data and documents you put into the app. We process them only to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your data and account at any time from within the app.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the app available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
9. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. On termination, your right to use the app ends; data deletion follows the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
